The CRB has many uses and is great at pre scrubbing traffic lanes and heavily soiled areas. Tile & Grout is another area where the CRB really makes a huge difference. The long strands on the dual brushes scrub the tile and grout better than any other mechanical method. Because the brushes rotate vertically they can actually clean grout. 

Encapsulation, also known as VLM is another area where the CRB really shines. Simply prespray encap solution and agitate with the 15" CRB for phenomenal results.

CRB (Counter Rotating Brush machine) Aggressively agitates using brushes with thousands of bristles to work dirt out of the surface. Many cleaners use CRB's on traffic lanes, stains, pet stains, heavily soiled carpet, tile and grout and even hardwoods and laminate. You can even use them to preagitate oriental rugs. You can even use a CRB for Encap cleaning!

CRB's are one part of a 2 part process. After you scrub with your CRB you will extract with your portable or truck mount and a wand.

A CRB machine uses stiff brushes that rotate conter to each other to deep scrub the surface you are cleaning. This scrubbing action agitates your prespray, soap or other cleaner into the surface making it much more effective.

On Carpet the brushes dig out dirt from the bottom of the carpet fibers, work in your chemical and bring most of the dirt to the surface. By agitating with a CRB you will make your chemicals work more effectively and thus end up using less chemical.

If you clean with a Portable extractor, adding a CRB will allow you to achieve results typically only possible with a truckmount.
